Leon Rodriguez's Senate ​​Confirmation Applauded by Immigration and HR Professionals

Washington, D.C. – The Council for Global Immigration (Council) and Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) today released the following statement applauding the Senate confirmation of Leon Rodriguez as Director of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).

“We commend the Senate for confirming Leon Rodriguez as Director of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. Having served as the Director of the Office for Civil Rights in the Department of Health and Human Services, Mr. Rodriguez is a capable and qualified leader who is well positioned to take over the reins at USCIS.
