04/03/2017 – Columbia University's International Students and Scholars Office is currently seeking a Senior Scholar Adviser for the Faculty and Scholar Services team. 

Responsibilities include: supporting the development, coordination and delivery of immigration advising and other support services for Columbia University's non-immigrant faculty and staff on a broad range of employment-based immigration-related areas; implementing departmental and University policies associated with employment-based non-immigrant visas to ensure compliance with DHS, DOL, and DOS regulations; serving as Alternate Responsible Officer for Columbia's J-1 Exchange Visitor Program. 

The Senior Scholar Adviser actively participates in the development, maintenance, and growth of team expertise in the laws/regulations governing international faculty and scholars as well programming efforts designed to support and integrate the international faculty and scholar population.
