ACIP and SHRM sign onto stakeholder letter urging the House to take action on immigration reform

Letters to Congress

ACIP and SHRM recently signed on to a letter that was sent to members of the U.S. House of Representatives this week urging them to enact meaningful reform of our immigration system this year. Over 400 organizations from a broad spectrum of industries and have signed onto the letter to support the call for action. The letter points out, among other concerns, we are now in the third decade of not making critical reforms to our immigration system and this leaves many employers incapable of being responsive to an ever-changing national economy and hypercompetitive global marketplace. ACIP would encourage any of our members that are reaching out to your House Representative over the August recess to also share this letter with them.
